The good news is that it gives us the chance to rethink our world.
Rethink Now CIC has been created to help manage this process.
We teach. We inspire. We empower. We create leaders.
Our mission is to nurture and create communities that are worth living in. Streets that people want to live on. Places that people want to visit and call home.
The maths of climate change means that we have limited options. We will teach you about the carbon cost of everything. From a banana to a beef burger. From a glass of water to a pint of beer.
We believe in fairness. We believe in clean air and safer roads. We believe in science and maths. We believe that the health and happiness of all citizens comes first.
The work that we do should be energising and interactive. We won’t pull any punches and we will always aim to tell the truth. We care about the importance of the natural world and out place within it.
Our approach is community-led. We work with organisations to empower the best possible decisions that will lead to lives of purpose and prosperity.
Our Story
IT STARTED ON THE SCHOOL RUN
Rethink began at the school gates. On the short trip from home to school we realised what a mess we’ve created and how urgently it needs to be solved. A child should be able to walk or cycle to school in safety. The film we made was viewed around the world and highlighted the global issues that people face when doing the most simple of things – walking a short distance.
